How to Change Language in Telegram iOS Client Using a Link

To change the language in the Telegram iOS client, you can easily do so via a link. The current version of the Telegram iOS client officially supports Chinese.

Applicable Versions

This feature is available for Telegram and Telegram X versions 5.0.16 and above.

Language Change Links

You can use the following links to change Telegram's language:

  • English:

  • Simplified Chinese:

    • tg://setlanguage?lang=zh-hans-raw

  • Traditional Chinese:

    • tg://setlanguage?lang=zh-hant-raw

Simply tap the corresponding link, then select "Change" to complete the language change.

Important Notes

Please note that the current Chinese support in the iOS client is still in its beta phase and may have some issues.
